Kismet is built on the belief that food made with care and shared with intention, creates connection. We cook with the best seasonal ingredients, sourced as regionally as possible, and with a deep respect for the Indian heritage we are inspired by. 

Although our passion for food is what defines us, hospitality and an utmost attention to detail, in terms of pace, setting and atmosphere are of equal importance to us. A Kismet experience, whether at the Bistro, the communal table in micro, or a location of your choosing, will always include our concept of gracious hosting and unparalleled moments centred around excellent food.

Kismet was founded by Vatsala Murthy and Pascal Tonecker, partners in life, and now, business. They come from diverse backgrounds—one raised in India, the other in Germany—and each worked in varied industries before a common love for sharing meals and tables, and creating moments of bonding and belonging, brought them to the decision to bring Kismet to life. Now they look to share this vision with others.
