Kismet began as a supper club, with the vision of bringing people together around a table. The highlights were equally community and a creative expression of what modern, plant-forward Indian cuisine could look like.

Today, it is a space for gathering, an expression of its founders, Vatsala Murthy‘s and Pascal Tonecker’s, vision for warm hospitality and a sense of belonging. Pared-down interiors and an attention to detail, from the drinks and food to the service are signature features, inspired by a shared appreciation for a certain old-world elegance.

Our food philosophy: Plant-forward and nourishing—for body and soul.

We’re inspired by the rich and diverse flavours of the Indian sub-continent, most especially the lush South. Expect vibrant, bold dishes inspired by both traditional recipes and seasonal produce, freshly prepared for you. We favour local and regional farms and farms, as well as organic and seasonal produce as far as possible.

Our menu changes every few weeks and is a personal way of bringing two very different worlds together.
